More unfair competition, I know, but here it is. Beautiful Praças in Lisboa, clean, unvandalised on the left. On the right, Thetford town centre, complete with vandalism - upended litter bin, litter, and boarded up doors on the pub. But it's not all this bad, and the comparison here is between a European cultural capital, and an East Anglian market-town.
