Even though they have nothing in common, I couldn't resist this one! On the left, the Tower of Belém at Lisbon, Portugal, a 16th century defensive building, guarding the entrance of the Tagus Estuary. On the right, Kilverstone Parish Church of St Andrews, almost certainly of more ancient origins, is an example of a Norfolk medieval round-tower church, and is located only a few kilometres north of Thetford. The Torre de Belém is a World Heritage site. St Andrews is not!
