On the left, is a view across to Mosteiro dos Jerónimos at Belém, Lisbon. The Monastery today houses not only the living Church, but also maritime and archaeology museums. On the right are the ruins of Thetford Cluniac Priory. The church was dedicated to St Mary. The ruins are a reminder of the English Reformation.
