Thetford Steam Engines

Thetford was once home to a steam engine factory - Charles Burrells Engines. During the late 19th century, Burrells was the largest employer in Thetford. Steam traction engines built at Thetford still exist all over the World. There is a Burrells Museum in Thetford, based in the old paint shop of Burrells Works.
