The Tow Path

The Tow Path - to Thetford Forest

This is the tow path that lays alongside the Little Ouse river, as it snakes out of Thetford town, under the A11 Thetford Bypass, past Kingfisher Lake - and now out into Thetford Forest itself. Thetford Forest is a large state planned and owned pine forest, that surrounds much of Thetford, and spreads in sections across the Brecks Area. For more photos of Thetford Forest, please feel free to visit the Thetford Forest Photo Gallery that forms part of my Archaeology website. You can reach it from any page in this gallery, from the navigation panel on the left, or to open it up in a new browser window, click here. Large sections of Thetford Forest are open to public access, although some of the designated recreational areas of the forest have vehicle tolls.
