Another view of the small reconstructed post alignment over the artificial lake that serves to maintain water-logged conditions over the Bronze Age timbers at the Flag Fen site. Just an observation - made by others before myself, that this may all be about 'boundaries' between two worlds - the world of air, and the world of water for example. Other excavations of earlier prehistoric 'ritual' sites sometimes include divisions - fences, or post alignments. Maybe they also symbolise the division/meeting place between material and spiritual worlds?
