This photograph features four generations of a Norfolk family, and was taken about 1935. The elderly lady sitting on the right was Eliza Tammas-Tovell (nee Lawn), born at Tunstall in 1849. She was the great great great grandmother of our children. The man standing behind is her son, Samuel John Tammas-Tovell, born about 1876. The woman holding the infant is my grandmother - Ivy Maud Curtis (nee Tovell), Sam's daughter. The infant is my aunt, Gladys.
