John Henry Brooker was born in 1884, in Deptford London. Later he moved to Lewisham, and after leaving school, joined the Royal Field Artillery, being assigned to the 65th battery. I have desperately tried to research his military record, but to no avail. He married Faith Baxter, but after a few children, they seperated. John later met a Mabel Elizabeth Tanner, and they lived together in Sidcup, Kent. I believe the woman with John is Mabel. They retired in Wimbourne, Dorset. John was my great grandfather, and I would love any further information on his life.
